Oltmans Converts Building for Dole Unit

The Thousand Oaks office of Oltmans Construction Co. has completed conversion of a 70,000-square-foot industrial building in Westlake Village into a new office/administrative facility for the Dole Packaged Foods unit of Dole Food Co.
Dudley Campbell, Oltmans project manager, said his workers “completely gutted” the two-story concrete structure before rebuilding it to Dole’s specifications.
The Dole unit, which is relocating from Northern California, is expected to ultimately employ about 200 at its new headquarters. A source close to the project said the conversion cost well over $2 million.
