The South Orange County Community Services Council will host its 11th Annual Membership Luncheon Sept. 17 at Geneva Presbyterian Church in Laguna Hills.
The 13-year-old council strives to improve the quality of life for South County residents by drawing various groups together and opening lines of communication and cooperation, according to member Dee Leif.
Several community service awards will be presented during the luncheon, and updates will be given on the council’s four task forces.
Tickets for the 11:30 a.m. luncheon are $10. For more information, contact the Community Services Council at (714) 364-6636.
Annual membership in the organization, which works with more than 150 human service agencies, is $35.
