She’s Not Pusillanimous About Defending Downey

If I were publisher of the L.A. Times, I wouldn’t let Mike Downey get away with his article about the punishment inflicted on the University of Washington.

I’d give him what he deserves. I’d promote him to editor of the editorial pages and bring a much-needed aggressive, objective viewpoint to that pusillanimous section.
