Northridge Faces Nevada Las Vegas

Cal State Northridge, which defeated Sonoma State two weeks ago, 39-0, for its first victory of the season, will play Nevada Las Vegas tonight at the Silver Bowl in Las Vegas.
The Matadors (1-3) were paid $35,000 to act as sacrificial lamb against the Rebels (1-4), but UNLV will be without two of its offensive linemen, Tracie Perry and Jerry Reynolds.
Jason Davis, who has spent the season as understudy to Bob Stockham, will start at quarterback for UNLV. Davis, an adept runner, has completed 17 of 36 passes for 236 yards.
