Van Nuys 48, North Hollywood 6--Tailback Larry Reed rushed for 143 yards in 15 carries, including touchdown runs of three and 16 yards, to lead Van Nuys (4-1, 2-0) at North Hollywood. He also scored on a 93-yard kickoff return.
Teammate Robert Levey added 115 in 14 carries and scored on runs of 15 and 14 yards. Van Nuys rushed for 345 yards.
The only score for North Hollywood (2-3, 0-2) came on a 72-yard first-quarter touchdown pass play from Patrick Fields to receiver Towan Franklin.
