* * * Bob Dylan, “World Gone Wrong,” Columbia. Casual fans will be mystified and true ornery Dylanologists delighted by the troubadour’s second consecutive foray into traditional folk songs, traditionally rendered. This one’s completely of a piece with last year’s “Good as I Been to You,” with more acoustic murder and mayhem borrowed from the bluesy side of the public domain. The only new wrinkle is liner notes from Dylan himself, a stream of consciousness of a kind not seen since the days of “Tarantula.”
New albums are rated on a scale of one star (poor), two stars (fair), three stars (good) and four stars (excellent).
