Man Shot Dead in Northridge Home

NORTHRIDGE — A man was shot to death at a residence in the 7700 block of Louise Street in Northridge Sunday evening over what police are describing as an ongoing child custody battle, authorities said.
Police arrested an unidentified woman in the shooting, said Sgt. Norm Crosby of the Los Angeles Police Department’s West Valley station. The woman was at the house when police arrived, he said.
The victim was pronounced dead on arrival at Northridge Hospital Medical Center, Crosby said.
Crosby declined to provide details of the shooting pending the outcome of a detective’s interview with witnesses to the crime. He declined to identify either the victim or the suspect.
