Big Marijuana Seizure

LITTLEHAMPTON, England — Police said Saturday that they had seized 2.7 tons of marijuana worth $9.61 million and had arrested 18 people in the fifth major seizure of the drug in Britain in a week.
The latest drug seizure was made Friday night when customs and police officers boarded a British-registered fishing vessel that had picked up the drugs at sea from a “mother ship” and landed at Littlehampton in southern England.
