KABC-TV Gets ‘Good Neighbor Award’

Television station KABC Channel 7 received the “Good Neighbor Award” from the Los Angeles Chapter of the American Red Cross for its financial support and co-sponsorship of the annual Kids Care Fair.
The station is credited with providing health care information to approximately 81,000 families, many of whom do not have access to regular health screenings or health care.
News anchor Steve Wolford and public affairs director Teresa Samaniego accepted the award on behalf of the station.
