Oracle Corp. Postpones Demonstration: After months of planning and an approximate $1-million investment, disappointed officials of Oracle Corp. postponed a shindig planned for Tuesday night at CBS television studios on Beverly Blvd. The company had planned to demonstrate new interactive services before several hundred invited guests and by satellite to London, Tokyo, Washington and New York. Although the CBS facility held up well in the quake, Oracle, a database software company, figured it should reschedule the event later “in deference to the city and the tragedy that has befallen it,” a spokeswoman said.
