Police are seeking a group of teen-agers who forced their way into a home in the 13000 block of Palomar Street early Tuesday, tied up the owners and fled with an undisclosed amount of money and jewelry.
According to police, the robbery took place between 5:00 and 5:30 a.m. The two victims, whose names were not revealed, described their assailants as four Asian teens who had pulled their shirts over their faces.
No one was hurt, said Officer Marcus Frank.
It was the county’s latest home-invasion robbery. Since 1991, more than 150 such attacks, conducted mainly by Asian and Latino gangs, have been reported in Westminster, Garden Grove and Santa Ana, authorities have said.
