The Dodgers have set up a ticket-refund policy if there is a strike. Debra Duncan, director of ticket operations, said she will send a letter next week to season ticket-holders explaining their options. Even if they choose refunds, none will be sent out until after games are actually canceled.
“We hope all games will be played,” Duncan said. “But if some are canceled, our fans will be taken care of.”

Tonight’s game will start at 7:30, preceded by the old-timers’ game at 5:45. Among those scheduled to play are Tom Lasorda, Don Newcombe, Tommy John, Ron Cey, Willie and Tommy Davis, Steve Garvey, Jerry Reuss and Lou Johnson. . . . The Astros put Sid Bream on the 15-day disabled list and recalled infielder Roberto Petagine from their Tucson triple-A club. Bream suffered a muscle strain in his back.
