Youth Orchestra Auditions Planned

Young musicians from the Conejo Valley and surrounding communities are encouraged to attend auditions for the Conejo Youth Symphony on Aug. 30 and 31.
The group, which is composed of students ages 21 and younger, is sponsored by the Conejo Symphony Orchestra and will perform three concerts in the new Forum Theatre at the Civic Arts Plaza during the 1994-95 season. Auditions will be held from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Cal Lutheran University, Room K-1. Returning members do not need to audition.
Students should bring a short musical piece that they are currently studying and will be asked to play a brief portion of sight-reading and scales.
Tuition for the Conejo Youth Symphony is $90 or $140 for two or more students from the same family.
