World IN BRIEF : LESOTHO : 4 Die in Protest Over Abolition of Cabinet

Four people were killed and at least 10 were wounded when Lesotho soldiers and police opened fire on protesters outside the king’s palace in Maseru, officials said. The crowd was protesting King Letsie III’s move to abolish the democratically elected government of Prime Minister Ntsu Mokhehle, who declared the abolition of his Cabinet unconstitutional.
