Robert Schildts from Calvary Chapel has signed a letter of intent to play volleyball at Loyola Marymount, according to his coach, Chuck Wright.
Schildts signed the letter on Tuesday.
Schildts, a 6-foot-7 right-side hitter, chose Loyola Marymount over Loyola of Chicago and USC.

Capistrano Valley’s Catherine Carone, who swims the backstroke and butterfly, signed a letter of intent with Pepperdine, the school announced. Carone was a 1994 junior national finalist and high-school All-American.
