Long Beach State Star to Coach Fullerton Golf

Fullerton College has named Ed Ratleff, former Long Beach State basketball star, as its golf coach.
Ratleff, an avid golfer, is renowned for leading Long Beach to national prominence in the early 1970s under Coach Jerry Tarkanian.

The “Blast From the Past” old-timer’s basketball game, scheduled for Saturday at The Pond of Anaheim, has been postponed indefinitely because of an inability to fill out player rosters, the promoters announced Wednesday.
Refunds for those who already have bought tickets will be available at the purchase location.
