Plane Survives Lightning

ARLINGTON, Va. — USAir Group Inc. said one of its twin turboprop planes operating for USAir Express was hit by lightning but landed safely, with neither passengers nor crew suffering injuries. Flight 3722 was carrying 12 passengers and three crew members to Philadelphia from Buffalo, N.Y., a USAir spokesman said. There was no significant damage to the plane, he said.
