EAST LOS ANGELES : Basic Business Class Offered at Discount

A 10-week course on basic business principles for beginning entrepreneurs will begin Dec. 7 at the East Los Angeles Community Union--at a discounted rate.
The course, presented by the nonprofit California American Woman’s Economic Development Corp., will be taught by business professionals. It will offer practical information on starting an enterprise, including planning, sales, business law, record keeping, marketing, advertising and public relations.
The course normally costs $250, but funding from the city has reduced the enrollment fee to $50.
The classes will be from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Wednesdays at the community union, 5400 E. Olympic Blvd.
