CRENSHAW : Panel to Scrutinize Redevelopment Plan

A citizens advisory committee of the Community Redevelopment Agency will meet Thursday to continue finalizing details on a proposed redevelopment project for four commercial corridors in the Crenshaw/Slauson area.
The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. at the Black Employees Assn., 5462 Crenshaw Blvd. The public can participate in a discussion with the 12 business and community leaders, residents and property owners who serve on the committee.
The group will review crucial elements of the proposal, which is awaiting approval by the City Council and CRA commissioners. Among the elements is a five-year implementation plan and the first draft of a report to the city planning commission.
