National Media to Acquire Infomercial Producer: National Media valued the acquisition of Sherman Oaks-based Positive Response Television, producer of the “Amazing Discoveries” infomercials, at $26 million. Positive Response shareholders would receive 0.524 share of National Media for each Positive Response share. The transaction requires shareholder approval. If the deal is completed, Positive Response shareholders will own 7% of Philadelphia-based National Media.
