Bertinelli, Harris to Star in ‘Case for Life’

Two former TV series stars--Valerie Bertinelli of “One Day at a Time” and Mel Harris of “thirty-something”--play sisters who are at odds over abortion in “A Case for Life,” a TV movie that will air on ABC later this season.

The story has Bertinelli as an anti-abortion activist who gets pregnant and then develops a life-threatening illness. Harris’ character takes her to court to try to force her to accept a therapeutic abortion.
