Living ArtSmart Opens on Ventura’s Main Street

Living ArtSmart, a new company that markets original pieces of art by Ventura County and California artists, has opened on Main Street in Ventura’s mission district.
In addition to paintings, the store sells furniture, clothing and other pieces created and signed by artists.
Other new businesses include:
* Furniture Medic, which restores and repairs furniture in customers’ homes or places of business. It’s a franchise of a company based in Atlanta. For information, call (805) 641-9525.
* Expressly Portraits, a nationwide photography studio chain. It will open its 186th unit Nov. 16 in Janss Marketplace, Hillcrest Drive and Moorpark Road in Thousand Oaks.
