Pacific Enterprises Earnings Increase: The parent of Southern California Gas Co. reported a 17% increase in earnings per share for the third quarter, compared to that quarter a year ago. Net income was $47 million, or 55 cents per share of common stock, for the quarter ended Sept. 3, compared to $42 million, or 47 cents per share, a year earlier. Operating revenue for the Los Angeles company was $528 million, down from $591 million for the same quarter of 1994.
