Simi Valley 10, Royal 0--The Pioneers (3-7, 2-5) retained city bragging rights at Simi Valley High by defeating the Highlanders (3-7, 2-5) for the third consecutive year.
After a scoreless first half, Simi Valley scored when Brad Norris threw a 10-yard pass to Robert Gonzalez on fourth down.
John Gonzalez added a 37-yard field goal in the fourth quarter. The Pioneers forced six turnovers, including two interceptions by Robert Gonzalez.
Christian Broussard had two interceptions and a fumble recovery for Royal.
