Mike Penberthy scored 18 points and James Mosley had 17 as The Master’s College trounced San Jose Christian, 92-71, Wednesday night in a nonconference basketball game at San Jose Christian.
Jeremiah Cathey scored 14 points for the Mustangs (25-6) and Reggie Robinson added 12.
The Master’s has won six games in a row and at least 25 for the third consecutive season.
VOLLEYBALL
Cal State Northridge d. La Verne, 15-7, 15-13, 15-7--Jason Hughes had 19 kills for the Matadors in a nonconference match at La Verne. Chad Strickland added 14 kills.
