City Lists Recreation Classes for Spring

The city of Ventura has issued its roster of spring recreation classes, with more than 200 offerings that range from adult flag football to mask-making and guitar lessons.
Kids might get a kick out of “Three Little Surfer Pigs,” a puppet show about traveling and responsibility.
Grown-ups may enjoy the Chumash nature walk.
Classes begin this week and continue for six to eight weeks. Fees vary from $3 to $60. Class schedules and registration forms can be found at local libraries and businesses, or by calling the city’s Recreation Department at 658-4726.
