Oxley Wins Speedway Event

Brad Oxley of San Juan Capistrano won the Coors Light 25 Lap Classic in front of 5,293 in the weekly speedway motorcycle program Friday at the Orange County Fairgrounds in Costa Mesa.
Ed Castro of Ojai was second, Jesse Finch of Orange third and Andy Northrup of Ontario fourth.
Steve Stanton of Glendale and Robert Dent of Mentone won the Sidecar Main and Jason Daniels of Lake Elsinore won the Support Main.
