Lightning Strikes Jetliner

CHICAGO — A Southwest Airlines jetliner returned to Chicago’s Midway Airport Monday after it was struck by lightning, the airline said. The St. Louis-bound plane “landed without incident,” a spokeswoman said. Officials said they did not know how many were aboard the aircraft when it was hit. There were no injuries.
