LAKE ELSINORE — The JetHawks finally got good pitching and key hits but still lost their seventh in a row, 5-4, to the Lake Elsinore Storm on Monday night before a crowd of 3,002 at The Diamond.
The JetHawks (19-20), who fell below .500 for the first time this season, rallied from 3-0 and 4-3 deficits before the Storm broke a 4-4 tie on Phil Dauphin’s two-out run-scoring single in the eighth inning against Clint Gould (0-1).
JetHawk starter Chris Beck gave up four runs in six innings, recovering nicely after giving up three in the first. The JetHawks tied the game with a run in the fourth and two in the fifth.
