Schools / Education news : Schindele Honored as a Real Trouper

Vicki Schindele has been recognized for producing, directing and choreographing Acacia Elementary School’s annual fourth-grade play for the past decade.
The school’s Site Council, which is made up of teachers, parents and community members, has given Schindele a Community Appreciation Award, saying she makes musical theater a learning experience.
Schindele, a local resident, is co-director of Fullerton Children’s Repertory Theater, co-director of musicals staged at Fullerton High School and producer of a number of shows at several other area elementary schools.
