Five Boston relievers held the Angels scoreless over the last six innings and Jose Canseco singled off Shawn Boskie in the bottom of the 12th to give Boston a 4-3 victory. John Valentin, whose two-run homer tied the score, 3-3, in the seventh, scored the winning run.
