It would be a pleasant change if The Times’ editorial staff would make up its mind!
On May 10, you were all in favor of the market working its invisible hand when you objected to reducing part of the federal gas tax. However, on May 13, you reversed your course, choosing to use the heavy hand of government to raise the minimum wage.
Which road do you want the U.S. to follow, the free market system or government central planning? Or is your selectivity being used just to promote your overall agenda?
