Help Available for Those With Sight Loss

Independence After Sight Loss, a 12-week series of free programs given by officials from the Braille Institute, has begun at Westminster Senior Center.
The classes is on Fridays from 10 a.m. to noon.
Participants will learn new techniques of personal management, including closet, drawer and kitchen organization, grooming, money identification, shopping and handwriting. The series also includes information about Braille Institute Library Services and community resources.
People who are visually impaired, their family, friends and caregivers are invited to attend. The Senior Center is at 8200 Westminster Blvd.
