Nation IN BRIEF : OHIO : Church Squatter Is Arrested Again
- Share via
A homeless man was arrested a second time after returning to the Akron, Ohio, church lawn where he said God wanted him to live. Jim Dunn, 52, had earlier been released when someone anonymously posted his bail. He started living on the lawn of First Congregational Church more than a year ago, after another church asked him to leave its parking lot. He lived in a makeshift tent and used rest rooms at nearby gas stations. Church members welcomed him, but after rats appeared, the congregation voted to ask him to leave. When he didn’t, he was arrested on a trespassing complaint.
