Grants Available for Social Service Groups

Nonprofit agencies in Ventura County serving the needy are invited to submit proposals for Catholic Healthcare West community grants.
Requests should not exceed $25,000 and are intended to help support operations and capital expenditures involved in providing direct services to the needy.
Interested agencies are requested to submit a one-page letter briefly describing the project for which they seek funding.
Criteria for selection include:
* Applicant must be a 501 C3 nonprofit organization.
* Funding must be used to provide services for the poor, women and children or other disenfranchised people.
* Project to be funded must involve some aspect of collaboration with others.
* Applicant agency must be in Ventura County.
Requests should be sent to St. John’s Regional Medical Center Foundation, Attention: Anthony Giacalone, 1600 N. Rose Ave., Oxnard, CA 93030.
The deadline is July 15.
