Man Who Killed Self at School Identified

ANAHEIM — A 20-year-old man who apparently committed suicide at Katella High School was identified Friday as Anaheim resident Ameer Jubran, a coroner’s spokesman said.
Two joggers found Jubran about 4:30 p.m Thursday near an athletic field behind the school in the 2200 block of Wagner Avenue. Investigators said the man, who did not appear to be a student or employee at the school, died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.
A gun was found nearby, Anaheim police said.
