A host of Republicans from California and around the country gathered in Burbank on Friday morning to meet local volunteers at the California Republican Party headquarters on Magnolia Boulevard. . . . Among those attending were Rep. Buck McKeon of Santa Clarita and two governors, Frank Keating of Oklahoma and Steve Merrill of New Hampshire, who also acts as national chairman of “Dole for President.”
