Police Seek Leads on Missing Woman

Police are asking for the public’s help in determining what may have happened to a woman who was last seen at 3 a.m. Sunday when she gave a co-worker a ride home from Peppers Night Club in Garden Grove.

Lt. Ed Tunstall said they believe Diana Garcia Luna, 22, may have been the victim of a crime.

Luna’s roommate found her car and belongings at the apartment they share on Sunday at 7 a.m. in the 4600 block of West Chapman Avenue.

“There is a lot of concern for the people involved,” Tunstall said. “Her family has no idea what happened to her.”

Police questioned Luna’s former boyfriend and the father of her 1-year-old son, Julian Albert Villa, 25, of Whittier, and arrested him on suspicion of parole violation. Tunstall said he had failed to check in with his probation officer while on parole for robbery.

He is not a suspect in Luna’s disappearance, Tunstall said.

Police ask anyone with information to call the Orange Police Department at (714) 744-7403 or Det. Matt Miller at (714) 744-7556.
