Muscular Dystrophy Fund-Raiser to Begin

The annual “Fill the Boot” fund-raising campaign by Anaheim city firefighters and the Muscular Dystrophy Assn. will be Saturday at Katella Avenue and Harbor Boulevard.
Shoppers, motorists and passersby will be invited to place their donations in firefighters’ boots.
Proceeds will go for research facilities that seek a cure for the disease and for support groups, clinics and summer camps for its victims.
Contributions to the nonprofit association may also be mailed to MDA, c/o Anaheim Firefighters, 756 Town & Country Road, Orange, CA 92868. Information: (714) 550-0161.
