Deputy Shoots Suspect; Second Man Detained

A Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputy shot a suspect Tuesday night in a mountainous area north of Malibu, and a second man was being detained, a department spokesman said.
The shooting occurred about 7:30 p.m. at 2300 Kanan Dume Road, Deputy Bob Killeen said.
The wounded man was taken to the hospital, Killeen said. The condition of the second shooting victim was unknown.
A second suspect was detained, but no further details were available, he said.
