Fullerton Municipal Airport will host Airport Day ’96 with flying demonstrations of vintage and experimental aircraft and other shows from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 12.
Other features of the free public event will be an appearance by Roland Sperry, a World War II Flying Tiger; and an aerobatics performance by quarter-scale model aircraft.
The theme for the event will be “70 Years of Community Service and Public Safety.” Airport officials said the aim is to reflect the role the airport has played in providing service over seven decades.
The general aviation field, founded in 1927, is at 4011 W. Commonwealth Ave. Information: (714) 738-6323.
