Malamud Services Thursday at Hillside

Funeral services for Times columnist Allan Malamud will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at Hillside Memorial Park, 6001 Centinela Avenue in Los Angeles. The service will be open to the public.
In lieu of flowers, his brother Lloyd, said donations could be made to the City of Hope hospital, 1500 E. Duarte Rd., Duarte, 91010-3000.
Malamud, 54, was found dead in his Los Angeles apartment Monday morning. He apparently died of natural causes.
