No. 10 Irvine (1-0) vs. No. 3 Servite (1-0), CS Fullerton, 7:30 p.m.

Servite is coming off an emotional victory over then third-ranked Esperanza, 24-20, but quarterback Greg Cicero injured his hand and his status is “muddled,” according to Coach Larry Toner. Doctors have told Cicero it might be four weeks before the hand is completely healed. This game will give a better indication whether Irvine has returned to the Division V elite since going 13-1 and winning a third consecutive section championship in 1993.
