Jackson No Longer Attending UC Irvine

IRVINE — Shaun Jackson, a former Mater Dei standout basketball player, did not return to UC Irvine this fall, Anteater Coach Rod Baker said Wednesday.

Jackson, a 6-foot-7 forward, was a freshman at Wyoming last year, but transferred to Irvine for the spring semester. He was a two-time All-Orange County selection and helped Mater Dei to the 1995 state Division I championship.
