Ashley Boone, a first baseman at Woodbridge, has orally committed to attend Florida.
Boone, a Times Orange County first-team first baseman last year, chose the Gators over California, Ohio State and Texas.
Boone batted .349, scored 16 runs and drove in 12 for Woodbridge, helping the Warriors reach the Southern Section Division II final.
