Woman, 92, Dies as Car, Pickup Collide

WESTMINSTER — A 92-year-old Seal Beach woman was killed Monday when the car her husband was driving collided with a pickup truck, police said.
Olive Winscott died at Los Alamitos Medical Center from injuries suffered in the 3 p.m. crash at the intersection of Bolsa Chica Road and St. James Park, according to Investigator Al Brackett.
The victim’s husband, Herbert Winscott, 89, was driving the couple’s 1991 Honda Accord and suffered minor injuries, police said. Witnesses said the Winscotts turned left in front of an oncoming, northbound pickup, Brackett said.
