CHATSWORTH — Funeral services will be held this week for Angela and Serafina Chimienti, two of the victims of a Christmas Eve double murder-suicide.
The sisters, ages 19 and 25, were visiting their parents’ Chatsworth home when they were shot to death by Angela’s estranged boyfriend, Edward Vizcarra, 31, who then shot himself, police said.
A viewing will be held from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday at Lorenzen Mortuary, 19300 Sherman Way, Reseda.
The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at St. John Eudes Catholic Church, 9901 Mason Ave., Chatsworth, with interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 5835 W. Slauson Ave., Culver City.
The family requests that memorial donations be sent to the Angela and Serafina Chimienti Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 304, 8335 Topanga Canyon Blvd., West Hills 91304.
