Preferred Credit Moves Headquarters

Preferred Credit, an Irvine-based home equity lender, is moving its 400 employees into a new, 105,000-square-foot office in Park Place near Jamboree Road and the San Diego Freeway. The company signed a five-year lease valued at $9.2 million, according to sources close to the deal. Also moving to Park Place are restaurant chains Coco’s and Carrows, which will join sister company El Pollo Loco in the complex. Coco’s and Carrows currently are headquartered on Von Karman Avenue in Irvine.
