PoliticsNow Web Site Goes Offline

PoliticsNow, a popular Web site on politics and policy sponsored jointly by Walt Disney Co.’s ABC News, Washington Post Co. and Times Mirror Co.’s National Journal Inc., went offline Tuesday. In a statement, the three companies said the site, https://www.politicsnow.com, had been an effective tool during the 1996 election campaign. But the companies said they have decided to focus on their individual online ventures.
