Body Believed That of Missing Flood Victim

A body believed to be that of an Anaheim man swept away by December flood waters has been discovered in a Chino Hills creek, two months after his car was found empty, a San Bernardino County sheriff’s spokesman said Tuesday.
Though investigators have not positively identified the man as Sadi Mosaferi, 44, Sheriff’s Sgt. Paul Cappitelli said, “We strongly suspect that the body found is the missing person.”
Two Hikers found the body Saturday morning at Chino Creek. Investigators who found a cellular telephone or a pager on the body used that to make tentative identification, Cappitelli said.
The body was found within a couple of miles of where Mosaferi’s Volvo was discovered in December, he said.
